Platform evaluation, development and hosting on Magento Open Source.

We investigated if British Gymnastics’s current ticketing solution, using a Magento Open Source plus extension, was suitable. Using our expert knowledge in Magento, we proposed a number of ‘out of the box’ and customised solutions to their commercial teams.

As the client’s Magento Open Source site needed to sit on a different URL to the main domain, we set up a reverse proxy solution as part of their onboarding. This needed to work with the Single sign-on (SSO) in-place to ensure members could log in on the main site and then the shop platform without the need to log in separately.

We evaluated British Gymnastics’s site to ensure it maintained restrictions, such as restricted content for clubs (e.g. leaning pathway resources). This included access to squad kit, meaning that only British Gymnastics squad members could purchase official British Gymnastics items.
