Jenvey’s new Magento Open Source website had consolidated their previous static content site and shop into one location, but there were problems. Including indexing, duplicate content and redirection issues, the migration had caused a dramatic loss of traffic for the business. However, their then current agency was unable to resolve the myriad of issues.
Seeing that we had worked with various automotive companies, Jenvey approached us for help. We examined their Google Search Console data, looked at their Magento configuration, and analysed the performance of their server. Through doing this, we formed a strategy to optimise search engine crawl activities for SEO, correctly indexed their site, and improved the performance of their server - all helped to create a stable and reliable eCommerce site.
Since helping recover lost traffic, we have signed a retainer agreement with Jenvey to help identify opportunities to help grow their eCommerce site. These regular, structured meetings have led to ideas in growing their global distribution network of products through their site, for example.
