Studiospares was a family business founded in 1983 by Barry Lambden. As one of the leading brands in home recording and studio equipment, Studiospares approached us at magic42 to migrate from their old platform onto Magento Open Source.
Whilst Magento is capable of presenting videos from a single YouTube account, Studiospares needed to conveniently show videos from various providers, as well as their own channel.
We built a custom YouTube integration to handle this, updated to be more lightweight, resulting in better page speed and Google ratings.
We partnered with Doofinder to enhance the Studiospares search experience, enabling site users to quickly narrow down their choices using built-in search filters. This included the customisation of the search tool to better present the product data, increasing engagement and conversion rates.
We included an industry-leading ajax add-to-cart solution in Studiospares’s build plan and understood their need for a unique extension. This extension has been heavily customised to display more cross-sells, enabling users to add multiple items to the basket at once, driving up the average order value in add-ons and impulse buys.
