Shopify Plus integration with Aptean's Prima Solutions for this multichannel brand.

Analysing the technical specification, we planned what data to synchronise, the transformations needed and the optimal schedules to create the best customer experience. This involved the collaboration between three parties to then document and agree on the approach to be taken.

We integrated Weekend Offender’s globalShopify Plus site with Prima Solutions (Prima). This not only synchronises stock, but also customers, fulfilment details and any credit notes for returns. In addition, this enables order downloads for accounts reconciliation and reporting, ultimately helping to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

An overnight stock sync was agreed between us and Weekend Offender. However, due to the fast-moving nature of the products, as well as the ERP’s lack of ability to push ‘on change’ updates, we ensured the stock would be checked upon customer navigation to the checkout. This helped avoid overselling items and related customer service issues.

To save manual interventions and improve accuracy, we made sure that any refunds processed with Shopify Payments will create an equivalent credit note in Prima Solutions. As a result, this credit note is matched and logged against the corresponding order and customer in Prima.
